Lights of Hope is a special fundraising event organized by ACS CAN, designed to honor people affected by cancer and to remember those we lost. Participants can devote a luminous bag of hope in memory or in honor of someone by decorating it, with the funds collected by supporting ACS advocacy efforts to prioritize cancer problems among decision -makers. The collection of funds for the Enlightenment of Hope begins in February and takes place until September. Although you can host home screens at any time, many choose to do so in August or September. The annual hope of hope will take place on September 16, 2025At the Constitution gardens on the National Mall in Washington, DC, alongside the leadership summit and the hall day.
The Lights of Hope The bags are generally displayed locally, either in your courtyard, your alley or inside your home, offering the community the opportunity to participate. Volunteers participating in the leadership summit and hall day can also bring up to 20 bags to display during the event in Washington, DC. If you are interested in fundraising, you can register via the CAN Donordrive ACS platform in www.fightcancer.org/hope. Once registered, you can invite others to contribute by sharing your personalized page, where they can give $ 10 or more per bag to honor a loved one.
