YIt cannot solve a problem with the same thinking that he created. Our discussions of politics, economics and society often work in circles because we argue in a broken framework. We try to reform the economy to reform health care to reform education, and we end up reforming anything.

What if we wipe the list clean? What if we built a civilization from the zero point, using only basic humanitarian necessities such as our scheme?

Let’s imagine our starting point: clearing. Two people. They marry and have a child. At this moment, the entire project of civilization begins. Their needs are not ideological. They are biological and social. They are primitive.

Immediately, two divorced priorities appear, not from a political statement, but from love and instinct: The child must survive, and the child must develop.

These are the two principles. Health and education.

The first principle: health as food

The first cry of the child is a request for sustenance. Health, in its primary form, is not a hospital or birth control pill. that it food.

The first task of parents is to save. The mother nourishes the child. The Father is chasing and feed. His strength is not for the sake of opening but for care – to restore nutritious foods that would build a child’s body and protect the mother. This is the oldest contract: the protector and the provider guarantees the well -being of the family.

But it requires knowledge. What plants are medicine and any cm? How do we ensure that the water is clean? How do we store food to avoid the disease? The mother’s knowledge of preparing safe and nutritious meals is the first public health program in the world. The father’s skill in tracking the health game is the first chapter in food science.

Health begins at the dinner mat, not in the emergency room.

The second principle: education as a transportation

The child does not remain a negative recipient. It begins to watch, listen, to imitate. The first chapter is the stove.

The mother and father become the first teacher. The language is passed. Skills are clarified. The child learns the difference between healing herb and toxic berries by watching his parents. The father not only brings food. He must in the end science Child how to hunt. The mother does not just attend meals. You must science The child how to prepare them.

Education is simply: the transmission of knowledge from one generation to the following to ensure survival, improvement and understanding. The main purpose is to prepare the next generation to live a better and healthy life.

Honorable cycle: the engine of civilization

Here is a beautiful engine that enhances strong societies:

A healthy child has energy to learn. The educated child acquires knowledge to stay in good health.

Health allows education. Education protects health.

This is the virtuous cycle. The well -being of the singer has a cognitive ability and material energy for teaching and learning. Knowledge family can make more intelligent options that maintain their health, safety and resources. This course turns a family of survivors into a family of details. It is the basic pulse of the increasing civilization.

Great Reflection: When the means became the ends

In our primitive clearing, the purpose was clear. Health and education were the ends. Everything was means To achieve it.

  • Father hunting was early economy – A means of the end of feeding.
  • Parents were to determine the rules early law – A way for the end of safety and organized teaching.
  • The father was standing early Defense – A way until the end of the fireplace protection.

Then the complexity, the empire and the industrial revolution came. We are fascinated by tools and forgot the purpose. We started to worship the means.

  • Economy It turned from a tool to provide to an abstract god. We are now serving the economy, the gross domestic product is measured, even if that means poisoning our food with chemicals or draining the parents’ time so that they cannot feed their children or teach them properly.
  • the law It has often evolved to protect the interests of this new economic system (gold and glory) instead of ensuring the basic right of everyone to be in good and educated health. We have laws that protect medical monopolies and perpetuate unfair school financing.
  • Defense It expanded from protecting the country to the expected power abroad (the Gospel of Authority), and consumes huge resources that can be channels of medicine, textbooks and foods that are nutritious for its members.

We built a wonderful ceiling – a complex edifice of financing, the second and military power – on the basis of letting us collapse. We have given priority to gold, glory, and the glory of strength over the health and minds of our people.

The first family audit: Return to the purpose

Therefore, I do not seriously suggest that we are returning to the forest. I am defending the return to Clarity of target.

The “first family” test is the simplest and most review of the accounts that we can take on any modern society, any government, any budget, or any law. We must ask:

  1. Does this make it easy or difficult for parents to feed their nourishing food?
  2. Does this guarantee everyone access to the knowledge and care they need to maintain its health?
  3. Does this parents help have fun in teaching their children, or does it steal them at that time?
  4. Does our national priorities reflect the primitive truth that the strong nation is based on healthy people, or abstract economic and military standards?

We have turned from a society that built systems to serve people into a society that demands people to serve systems. It’s time to respond.

Health allows education. Education protects health. This is the course that builds strong people. Strong people build strong civilizations – that are fair, class and built to continue.

This is the lens through which I will explore my other thoughts. This is the first family institution.
