Subject – human. What makes us human Written by Nakul Yogi August 2025
From the moment when humans walked for the first time in a straight position, our race was on an unusual journey. We crossed deserts, sailed the unknown seas, and finally sent our type to the moon. At our best, we are creative, emotional and curious. In our worst cases, we are destructive, short -sighted, and we divide. This paradox – its own energy and brutality – makes the human story complicated as it is wonderful.
Unlike any other kind, humans have the ability to think abstractly, think about our existence, and imagine future contracts that have not yet exist. Our brains have evolved not only to survive, but to create. Language, art, science and philosophy are all the product of this mental complexity. The invention of writing allowed to pass knowledge across generations, form civilizations and accelerate our progress.
- Emotions: Our strength and our struggle
Humans are emotional creatures. Love, fear, joy, anger, hope – these feelings define our experiences and form our decisions. Fuel emotions are the acts of kindness and courage, but they can also lead to conflict and misunderstanding. Our ability to sympathize with others is one of our greatest strengths, enabling cooperation, society and common purpose.
We are by nature social beings. From families to nations, we create groups that give us identity and belonging. But this social nature also provides complexity – power tests, inequality and justice, followed us throughout history. When we have become more connected in the world, the challenge of finding unity in diversity becomes increasingly urgent.
Technology, a direct result of human creativity, has become a mirror that reflects our values and intentions. It has the ability to heal or harm, to contact or isolate. The digital age gave us the tools that were previously seen in science fiction, but they also raised moral questions about privacy and attention and what it really means to be a human being.
We look forward to the future, the options we make now will form the type of species that we become. Climate change, artificial intelligence, and global inequality are not just technical challenges – they are human. It requires sympathy, cooperation and preparation for development, not only technologically, but morally |
- Conclusion: embracing the humanitarian situation
To be a human being is to be a contradiction to walking – but he strives, and a selfish, frightening and courageous courage. We are able to damage, but also about unusual love and creation. It may be the most human thing to do is recognize our faults and we still choose to go forward, together.
