Most of us spend our entire life chasing happiness in the outside world.
We believe:

“If you earn more money, I will be happy.”

“If you bought this car, this house, this phone, I will be satisfied.”

“If people respect me, I will feel complete.”

But stop for a moment and ask yourself:
Did he give you anything ever permanent?

They are external joy

Imagine this: You can buy a completely new phone.
In the first few days, you feel enthusiastic. You appear to her for friends. You enjoy its speed and advantages.
But after some time, the phone itself looks normal.
Now, a new model has been launched. Suddenly, your joy fades, and the desire arises again.

What happened?
The object has not changed, but your mind has turned.

This indicates that happiness is not inside the object – it is inside your perception.

Example: sweet and bitter

Take sugar.
For a good healthy person, the sugar tastes sweet and enjoyable.
For a person with diabetes, the sugar itself becomes dangerous, and even bitter in the experiment.

So, is sweetness inside sugar?
no. Sweetness is the experience that was created within us.

Likewise, there is nothing on the outside that carries happiness.
Happiness is a state of your inner entity.

Desire play

Think of desire as a wound.
When you meet the desire, the wound is temporarily calm, and you feel comfortable. This happiness is called.
But soon, another desire arises, another wound opens, and the cycle continues.

Thus, external happiness is not a real joy – it is just a temporary comfort of desire.

Real happiness (Ananda)

He knows the path of knowledge (Jnana):

True happiness, called Ananda, is not in wealth, relationships or achievements.

It is the natural state of the self (Tamman), which exceeds the body and mind.

Things only lead to temporary feelings, but permanent joy comes when we communicate with ourselves.

When you sit quietly, when you hesitate to the divine name, when you rest in consciousness – peace arises from any money that he can buy.
This peace is your true nature.

Example: the lamp inside

Imagine the search for light with a lamp in your hand.
You go from one house to another asking, “Can I borrow some light?” – While all the time, the lamp is already burning in your hand.

This is exactly our condition.
We run out for happiness, while the Ananda lamp already shines inside us.

conclusion

External things can give comfort, but not happiness.
Happiness is not a wealth, not in property, and not in the approval of others.
It is in knowing yourself – Tamman – which is normal naturally.

As long as we look abroad, happiness will remain a moving goal.
But the moment we look inside, through knowledge and awareness, happiness becomes our continuous companion

So stop running after external organisms. Turn inside. The joy you seek is not there – you yourself.
