Every time I have a cup of fresh juice, I see moisture and recovery in the form of a color.
The color has always been part of how the world is interpreted. My grandmother has always told me that I started drawing the moment I was able to hold for writing utensils. The color has been part of my daily life since … always.
A few years ago, my family was visiting outside the city and I was feeling some attrition. My brother’s daughter asked me, what could make me help relieve my plot? My response was “Bring me something red to eat.” She asked me to clarify, and asked for cherries, strawberries or beets. We started discussing the reason for my response in the original color, and I told her that this is what my mind said. I laughed and brought me a large bowl of ping cherry.
The color is medicine.
The color speaks when the words fail. It indicates mood, memory and medicine. It carries generations treatments from gardens, grandmothers and the mother land itself.
When I was wrote from stretching of the brain vascular and lived with chronic pain, I also learned how to use colored foods for nutrients.
I have been minded with a mindset with the intention, and every ounce of the energy that I can mobilize.
What I learned is that each color represents a system in the body, and a direct way to restoration.

For me, juice is not a direction. It is a routine. This is the way I turned into growth and how I went back to myself after the health care system failed me. This is how I now help others to recover in colors and intention.
Healing should not be expensive. It should be just intended.
The next time that the carrot, beets or BlackBerry pick up, ask yourself:
“What did you really have?”
The answer may be healing in a form that you can eat or drink.
