A trip that answered my questions🙃

I still remember that morning clearly, the day my mother and I took my grandmother to Hisar to admit her. I was sitting in the front seat of the car, watching the narrow village roads go by, but my mind was somewhere else entirely.

As we passed village after village, a series of questions ran through my mind.

• Have these villages changed?
• Has people’s mentality grown over time?
• Are things better for the girls now?
• Have the Internet and social media brought about any real transformation?

These were not small questions. They came from a place of curiosity…and maybe a little hope.

She wondered whether families had begun to encourage their daughters to pursue higher education.
Or do most girls still get married immediately after completing the twelfth grade?🤷‍♀️

I wished at that moment that I could stop someone and ask:

• How much has really changed?
• How different does girls’ lives look today?

I didn’t know that life was preparing its own answers for me.Faster and closer than I expected.
Sometimes I joke 😁 Maybe I should…
