A huge new study says that your sleep schedule may make you sick
A leading international study, recently published in Healthy dataObjective sleep data was analyzed from 88,461 adults in the biological bank in the UK and found important connections between sleep features and 172 disease. While self -reports have linked long sleep to stroke and heart disease, objective data revealed this link in only one disease. The wrong classification may be responsible: 21.67 % of the “long sleeping” they already sleep less than 6 hours, indicating that the time spent in bed is often confused with actual bedtime.
“The results we have reached emphasize the importance of regular sleep,” said Professor Shingfing Wang, author of the study. “It is time for us to expand our definition of good sleep only after time.”
The team confirmed several associations in the American population and identified the paths of infections as a possible biological link. Causative future research and evaluate the effect of sleep interventions on the results of chronic diseases will be explored.
