This summer in Washington, DC, the Healthy America 2025 National Conference collected an unusual coalition of healthy creators, old warriors, legislators and preachers under one roof to address the most challenges of health care in America. Among the most unforgettable voices, Dr. Charles “Charlie” Powell, a doctorate in medicine, a former naval lieutenant, a multi -phase doctor, and the founder of Solo Vivi, a company dedicated to a comprehensive recovery based on the purpose.

Dr. Charlie’s title was more than just a letter. He was a man who puts a new way to consider some very complex issues.

Dr. Charlie told the newspaper “crowded” at the site of the main conference at the conference: “The dislocation of the uniform does not mean that the battle has ended.” “For many, it’s the beginning of a new type of fighting.”

Not only spoke as a doctor, but also as an old and surviving warrior of shock, loss and silent internal wars that follow military service. His speech was part of the Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Make Make Healthy (Maha) again, one of the most moments of the conference that I talked about at the conference because it was a voice for old warriors with the doctor’s vision.

The story of Dr. Charlie is the story of service and transformation. After graduating from the College of Medicine at the State of Louisiana in Sharifport, he completed the establishment of family medicine at the Naval Hospital in Bensakola. His maritime career included roles in New Orleans, as he took out clinical services in marine ambulatory care clinics and worked as an emergency doctor for employees.

In 2005, Dr. Charlie moved to civil medicine, but the mission remained with him. His clinical work expanded to improve quality, compliance, and innovation in the field of health care. However, the challenges he witnessed in the face of old warriors and the first respondents, especially those who wrestle with post -traumatic disorder, remained at the forefront of his mind.

In part, it was his journey that prompted him to do more.

“I faced darkness,” Powell said. “I lived with PTSD. I saw what happens when the system looks at the past the people they need more.”

In 2024, Dr. Charlie Solo Vivi, a multidisciplinary project that includes Vive Scientific, Solo Vive Studios, Saint Charlie Resorts, and very expected healing heroes – there is no mind that is behind the documentary. Each project reflects the Powell Central Conception: the recovery should be comprehensive. Medical intervention is only one piece of the puzzle, along with connection and dignity and finding a real internal meaning.

“Healing does not happen in isolation,” Powell stressed. “This happens in society, in the purpose, and to see really.”

The documentary, which may become a series of reality, aims to share the stories of old warriors, the first respondents and survivors who move in life with PTSD. Focusing on raising real sounds and breaking the stigma, Dr. Charlie hopes that the film will stimulate the change in perception and public policy.

His work is not formed not only by military service or medical training, but by paternity. As a parent of the son of people with special needs, he understands the daily battles facing families to the margins of the healthcare system.

He says that his call comes from love and a deep desire to create systems in which people are not only dealt with, but they support them.

“I have seen what it means to be overlooked,” he said to the attendees. “I made the task of my life to make sure that no mind is left.”

At the Healthy American 2025 conference, Dr. Charlie’s words were clear: healing is not only a recovery, but rather a rebuilding. His presence was a strong reminder that change often begins with those who want to speak against them.

“The scars that we carry do not make us weak; it is a sign of a survivor. Survival is just the beginning.”

In a gathering full of optimism and innovation, Dr. Charlie Powell reminded everyone that the human heart remains the center of every healthy journey. His voice, which is based on experience and the wealthy with mercy, has emerged as a beacon of hope and challenge for all of us to do what is better, together.
